We are following the current advice on public gatherings, we expect you to follow the current guidelines on social distancing. Links to both these documents are below, we encourage you to read them.
However, in summary this means:
*Avoid handshakes, hugging or kissing people (butt-bumps, etc are ok).
*Cough into your upper sleeve (not into your hands).
*Wash your hands when you arrive and during the event. We are providing our own yummy home-made hand sanitizer.
*Don’t attend if you are sick: ie cold and flu symptoms, runny nose etc.
*Give people more space than usual.
We also ask that you help out by bringing more with you than you usually would. This means your own drinking water, drinks, food, snacks. If possible bring your own santizer, wipes, tissues, toilet paper(there are public toilets near the site).
Ok, so now that’s out of the way, we also have to let you know that this is happening on Wurundjeri land were sovereignty was never ceded. Racists, sexists, and homophobes are not welcome. Bring a POSITIVE ATTITUDE to everyone at the event. If you can’t guarantee that your behaviour will be friendly to other attendees (whether verbal or physical), you ARE NOT WELCOME.
